And oh, the blocks... it was a lot of work, and as Cameron said, we could surely have bought some for less than what we spent in wood and labor, but these blocks are awesome. I have to thank my friend Emily for inspiring me to do this project. I thought it was crazy for her to attempt considering the time and resources, but thank to my parents, nieces and nephews, brother and, of course, Cameron, we were able to get it done while we were in Vegas. I don't know who likes them more... me or the boys. I think right now I play with them more than they do :)Tuesday, May 17, 2011

Those blocks are fantastic! I love them!
My parents made blocks for my oldest brother when he was young, over 40 years ago. All 12 kids played with them and now I own them and my kids play with them ALL of the time. They will be priceless.
Oh my goodness these are AWESOME. Really really great. If it were possible to buy wood here, or paint for that matter, I'd make some too.
You and Emily are impressive. It sounds like too much work for me. But they look so lovely!
