Last year, we had a little trifecta birthday party for John and his two friends Lola and Darwin. All three were born within a month of each other, and we mothers met randomly in the first weeks of their lives. We have been friends since. We don't see them as much these days since Lola moved uptown and now Darwin and family will be moving to Rochester on Monday. Boo. So we had one last hurrah for the kiddos. There were balloons. There were cookies. There were smiles. And, of course, John was sans clothing.
