Cameron's Home!!

Cameron came home this morning, and I am a happy girl :) My mom laughed at me the other day when I told her I was lonely. She asked how long Cameron was going to be gone. To which I responded, 3 days. Then she laughed and said, "Well, I guess you've only been married for 3 months. I've been married for over 20 years." Well, I kind of hope I never stop being lonely when I'm without Cameron.

Since I am posting, I thought I would share a quintessential New York Subway moment. The other day, I was riding the train back home after watching fireworks down in Chelsea. There were a few people scattered in the car chatting or reading. Then a woman comes through the doors holding a cute little puppy stands right in front of me and says, "Why can't you just leave me alone?" I look up and look at her quizzically because I hadn't been aware that I was bothering anyone. I look over at the lady sitting a few seats away and she just shrugs her shoulders. The best thing to do in situations like these is to pretend you didn't hear them and ignore them. She eventually walked a little farther down the car to the next group of unsuspecting passengers and yelled at them to leave her alone. After a few minutes she turned around and walked back through the door she came from. We all just kind of looked at each other in amazement. We had just shared a NY moment together and chuckled to ourselves at the expense of one the NY Subway crazies. Oddly, my first thought was that I felt sorry for the dog.
