While in the elevator headed out this morning Grant says "hello" to John. John does not respond. This is typical. So goes the following conversation:
Me: John, it's customary and polite to say hello back to someone who says it to you whether it is your brother or neighbor or anyone else.
John: I'm not playing this game. (he says this a lot when he gets frustrated with me and what I am asking him to do)
Me: This isn't a game. It's called life.
John: I don't want to play this Life.
Sometimes I don't either, John.
