It's been so beautiful out lately that I wanted a different kind of adventure for us than just visiting yet another playground. (Am I really saying this already when summer hasn't even started?) So last Friday I took John to walk (he rode) over the Brooklyn Bridge and to enjoy some downtime on the other side. Since he refused to take a nap before we left, he conveniently took one during our walk over, which saved me a lot of stress because of the sheer number of people who were on it that day thanks to Good Friday and Passover. We enjoyed a 30 minute wait in line for superior strawberry ice cream and had an all around good time on the other side of the river.
