We moved...

That's why I have been MIA for a couple of weeks. It happened really fast... like we signed a lease (we weren't exactly planning to move) and moved in a week and a half kind of fast. Then we had a Christmas party at our new house because the invites had already been sent. Yikes. Anyway, the why of the move... well, it's a long story that is probably of little interest to anyone, but let's just say it was a matter of needing more space and having serious issues with our downstairs neighbor. But all is well. Our Christmas tree is up and only our room looks like this car. The rest of the house is put together although there is a pretty good chance we will be moving things around in the near future. Bonus... JH has his own room!

Now that makes for a happy holiday!

Congrats on the move! We were bummed that we couldn't make it to the party. I'm sure it was awesome.

I'm so glad you have more space. I am surprised to hear there were issues with your neighbor because I thought you guys were close?! That is too bad but great that you're still in Harlem and have more space. We will be there to visit the old hood btw March 17-21 so don't go anywhere ok?!

This loaded down car pic totally cracks me up. I can see it going down the street in Harlem. Hope the move was relatively painless. So happy you guys finally have your own room. JH isn't going to have his normal sleep now that he isn't carted all over the house every night. Congrats!

I love the pic you have with this post! One day I'll have to show you the pics of my comp and I moving from one apt to the other on motorcycles in the jungle of Bolivia. It was pretty hilarious.
