A New York treasure

On Saturday, my friend Sara, JH and I went to Wave Hill, a public garden in the Bronx overlooking the Hudson River. It was absolutely stunning, and I wondered why after living in NYC for almost 6 years I had never heard of it. It was also the first time I took the 1 train past Dyckman Street. This was one for the books. We had a nice picnic, JH ate some grass and we only got to explore a fraction of the beauty because it started to rain. Cursed rain. I will be going back soon.During June and July they have Sunset Wednesdays where it is open later... perfect for photography.

That is one of my very favorite spots in the city. Go back in the Fall. It's stunning when the leaves turn across the river.
