It's never too early to start with piano. I let him "play" almost every day, and I love watching the intense and concentrated look on his face as he tries to figure out the connection between the keys and the sound. If nothing else it challenges his brain and keeps him occupied for a few minutes... not to mention it's adorable.

We do/did the same. When they know the connection--that's awesome too, in a "i can't concentrate and the neighbors are ticked" sort of way.
Hi. I just came across your blog from the rockstar diaries of naomi. I don't even know how I found her blog...anyhoo I couldn't help but notice one of your posts about the election you mentioned your friend "Sarah" in CA. After checking out your blog roll I saw you have Scott and Sarah Labass on there. They are my cousins so I was really excited to see the connection. Your blog is super cute and I definitely will be dropping by frequently. Have a good one!
Adorable! I will have to try that with our baby...Nikki, next time we are in NYC (hopefully late Spring), let's definitely get together, even if it is only a play date to Central Park! My husband grew up with the Simpsons...and we just LOVE them!
