A little something new

The blog has been kind of boring as of late. I admit it. So in an effort to spice it up, I thought I would tell you about something new.

As many of you know, I am planning to get my personal trainers license this year. For some reason my experience with running has some people believing I am an expert or authority on the subject. And although I am happy to share what I do know, I thought I would make it official by getting the license and therefore providing sound advice when needed. I have been contemplating this for some time, and it wasn't until the end of last year when I was doing some basic research on prenatal exercise (for future reference) that I discovered there wasn't much out there for people like myself who are already athletic. There is basic information on moderate exercise for pregnant women but very limited resources for those who currently do more than walk or attend classes at the gym. In other words... serious runners are often left wondering.

I decided this was a market that needed to be tapped into. So my sweet husband encouraged me to start another blog on such a topic that I could use to share what I find and will hopefully turn into a valuable tool when I do have my license. So, I invite you to check it out... Keep in mind that it is a work in progress... meaning it needs a lot of work and has a lot of room for progress.

Congratulations! I feel so dumb that two months ago I said something like "when are you planning to have kids?" or "if you guys have kids while you live here... blah, blah, blah." And you were pregnant already! We couldn't be happier for you! Oh, and we're not for sure going to SF, there is still the NY possibility!

This is a great idea. I for one think that you would be a perfect trainer, everything that you do...you do well.

We found out the other night for sure but I must tell you there has been rampant speculation amongst the other mothers in our ward. We were all pretty sure the announcement was coming any day! I am so happy for you guys and from reading your other blog please don't let other people cause you anxiety about birth. Have a plan you feel good about but be aware that anything and everything could happen. No matter what your plan is the baby and your body always have their own ideas so be open to going with the flow. Doctors and hospitals are not the enemy! I'll stop ranting. Congrats again!

Glad I can finally congratulate you!!! I'm so happy for you. And I'm glad about your license and other blog. I'll hire you! While I'm not at your level, I did run throughout my pregnancy and loved it. I just stopped after the baby and that was the downfall!! Can't wait to chat soon.
