As you know, Tuesday was a big day at our house. The couch arrived... with only minor damage which they now have to fix, but we have a couch in the meantime and a super swanky chair. And unfortunately, the opera got rained out. But we were so excited to eat our crackers and cheese and yummy fresh salad that we had a picnic in the park anyway. The rain had stopped and we had a tarp, so we were happy. It would have been nice to have La Boheme in the background, but maybe next year.
But more importantly... we got to pick up our vegetables. This week's harvest included radishes, mixed greens, boston lettuce, spinach, arugula, scallions, cilantro, apples, strawberries, raw milk... we came home and made the best salad. Only after we made the following video.I love that I wash my vegetables to get the dirt off and not the pesticides. I can't wait to see what we get next week.
