I love New York in the summer time despite the rising temperatures and humidity. There are outdoor concerts all the time, and my favorite are at the Naumberg Bandshell in Central Park. Their first concert of the 102nd season took place this week, and they had a very enjoyable Chinese flutist and orchestra.
After the concert, we walked home through the park and caught a little bit of NY magic in the park... nature's light show. FIREFLIES!! They remind me the cottage in the summer when I was a kid. If you look closely, you can see little flashes of light every now and again...
